Eureka! Ranch

Babson Case Number: 046-C99 | Length: x Pages

Abstract

Providing an environment conducive for the generation of new ideas, the Eureka! Ranch, a corporate resort, enjoys fabulous success with numerous Fortune 500 clients. The hyper-creative founder inspires corporate executives to rapidly conceive of new products and methods for their companies by designing customized three-day programs to stimulate creativity. To assist in the process, "Trained Brains," or new idea catalysts are assigned to the groups when they arrive at the ranch.

The originator's success, however, leads him to question which path his career should travel down next. Should he make the ranch bigger and better and maximize his profits? Should he write books about the creativity process? Or should he reorganize his company and concentrate on the less demanding but potentially more lucrative area of corporate training?
